GAR! Podcast Episode 21- Special Guests Jeremy Whitley and Emily Martin of Princeless

One of these days, I’m going to figure out how we’ve gotten so lucky here at GAR! This week, Glenn and I had the privilege of interviewing the current creative team of the Eisner-nominated and Glyph-winning comic book, Princeless (a big GAR favorite). Jeremy Whitley (the book’s writer) and Emily Martin (the book’s current artist) were kind enough to stop by and talk about their book, teaching comics, publisher Action Lab Comics, and other topics.

As always, you can always get the latest shows and leave comments for us at www.garpodcast.com. You can also listen on iTunes and Stitcher. Tweet Ray at @raycornwall, and tweet Glenn at @monsura. Thanks for listening!

GAR! Podcast Episode 17- So Much Fun, Our Wives Joined In

Hey- this is Ray. Glenn writes the episode descriptions (which means he relistens to the podcast after we’re done, and takes down all the references, and researches all the links and videos, which is MUCH harder than the technical stuff I do. Bless his insomniac heart), but I had to start with this. This episode was a TON of fun to do. We were in a great groove, and throwing in our wives for quick cameos (Glenn’s married to Jenn, and I’m married to CL) on this one just made it more fun. We really hope you like this one, and we thank you for all the support. Take it away, Glenn!

This week’s podcast includes discussion of the following:

Star Blazers / Battle of the Planets / The Bride / Pineland Players / Into the Woods / show discount / war crimes / Disney franchises / never seen Star Wars / the royal baby / Daym Drops / Simpsons Tapped Out / freemium games / Borderlands 2 / shoutouts / Teena Marie / fDeluxe, The Time and Sinead O’Connor / Steve Ditko / Shade, the Changing Man / long distance relationships / phone caller from the past / stripping TV / Breaking Bad / most complex TV character / Barry Weiss of Storage Wars / The Shadow / The Green Hornet / Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 /
